Living Whole Self in Relationship and the World You are invited to a DreamingDay, Sunday October 23rd @ 9.00
Stop for a second and see if you can connect to a feeling of unlimited creativity, of limitless possibility. It might come flooding in reading that sentence, or it might seem quiet, and distant. But either way, it’s here.
Dreaming is a way of finding, strengthening, and embodying that sense of possibility. It’s a way of becoming creativity. We make this world we live in. More fundamentally, we emanate it.
But most of the time, particularly in relationship and in the work we do to make a living, we bend ourselves out of shape not to express our wholeness -- not to embody the fullness of our creative power.
We will be exploring all of that in this Dreaming Day, using a number of different methods to enter these inquiries together. How can I express my Wholeness in Relationship? How does my Uniqueness move in the world? How do we get our “Higher” selves and our “Everyday” selves in closer contact? How do we make this world we live in?
The Day will be aimed at expressing the Voice of the We, an experience of our essential wholeness & interconnectedness, a potentially life-changing experience of our collective freedom & power.
The below is not a schedule-- what we do precisely will depend on the people who come, and the threads we’re bringing in. Dreaming is a bespoke practice, which means that it’s tailored to the people who are participating, what they want and what is present in their lives and awareness. In fact, we will be in conversation before the 23rd to tease the themes out. We will, however, likely engage in some version of most of the below:
Wei Wu Wei: the Ancient Art of Doing Nothing: a family of meditations to help you quickly tap into your own awareness, free of identity, effortlessly accessing awakeness, and finding and releasing intentions you didn't realize you were acting on.
Lineage & Sharing Gifts: Bringing in the unique flavor you’re here to emanate in the world, and that only you can. We’ll learn how not only to experiment with speaking these gifts, but how to transmit them—how to emanate them and allow life to unfold from this emanation.
Doing Nothing Together: What happens when we turn towards our open and effortless awareness in the presence of another? Can we find even deeper rooted intentions, and common intentions, that we were not aware of before? And when even these are dropped, what is possible then?
Sharing All-Pervasive Mind, All-Pervasive Heart, & All-Pervasive Presence: Coming into contact with the Causal/Awareness based ground of the Mind, the Heart, and the Body. Finding the space of overlapping infinities, and filling each with loving awareness.
What are We Experiencing?:The warm-up to Opening to the Voice of the We: finding and practicing the dimension of self-aware intersubjectivity, learning to rest in the dimension where we are already connected.
Opening to the Voice of the We: The Heart of We Dreaming: allowing the self-awareness of We to find expression through us, and exploring what is possible when we come together.
LivingDreaming: The boundaries of the workshop are helpful to the extent that they give us a place for focused work with very particular skills and expressions of our being. But after the workshop, we will walk back out into the Big Dream: Earth, late 2016.
What is possible at this time in the development and evolution of human culture and consciousness? What is possible now that we have met that was not before, and how do we bring these possibilities into the living, breathing, world? This is the place to be surprised by our visions, and excited by how and where those visions come together and evolve in ways we could have never seen before.
